HELP FOR A FRIEND......MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
A dear friend, Dorothy Davis of Huntsville, AL had 2 tragedies strike in 2005.  Dorothy's husband passed away suddenly in January 2005 and 3 months later, her 26 year old son Edwin Jr. was in a catastrophic car crash that left him unable to move or talk. Dorothy is caring for Edwin Jr. at home, with the help of her daughters & family friends, but she was badly in need of a special hospital 'transfer bed', that would allow her to move her son into a sitting position, and make his life better in so many ways.... We called on our friends, families and colleagues to help us raise the needed amount to help the Davis family and planned a series of music events to benefit this cause, 

THROUGH YOUR KINDNESS & GENEROSITY, WE HAVE ACHIEVED OUR GOAL!  Because of  your generous donations through the mail , through this website and at the Benefit Concert for Edwin last May, we raised a total of 4,500. for The Edwin Davis Jr Fund and the Barton Transfer bed was delivered to The Davis home in Huntsville on October 19th, 2007!  Thank you, dear friends - you've made this miracle happen!    All of you have made a very special difference in Edwin's life.  We thank you from our hearts! ...and thanks from Edwin! ...Any future contributions you may wish to make will  go to directly to help the family with extra expenses.  Thank you for your continued support.
